RCCC Anniversary Events
We're celebrating five years of curling in the Rocket City—and we want you to join us for a day of curling celebration on Saturday, September 23!
Whether you're a long-time club member or a first-time curler, there's something for you to do at the Ice Sports Center.

Curling Open House
Have you ever wanted to try curling out for yourself? We're hosting a streamlined, 30-minute version of our popular Learn To Curls—but this one is absolutely free. Join us on the ice to learn how to throw and sweep just like the Olympians!

Our open house will run from 2-5 PM on September 23, with the final sessions starting at 4:30. Wear long, flexible pants and clean, closed-toe shoes: you can leave the rest to us!

All ages are welcome, but attendees younger than 12 are encouraged to wear a helmet.

Anniversary Party
We'll be meeting in the lobby of the Ice Sports Center from 3:30-5:30 PM to socialize and reminisce about the first five years of the Rocket City Curling Club—and what the next five will bring!

Current members, prospective members and Open House participants are welcome to attend; make sure to wear your RCCC gear if you have it (shirts, jackets, and jerseys are all great) and feel free to bring any league trophies or other curling mementos!

At 4:30 PM, we'll say a few words to honor the folks who have made our accomplishments possible. Feel free to stick around afterwards: the first games of our fall curling league start at 6 PM!
Notes For Members
We'll need as many volunteers from our club as we can get to help make this day a success. If you're interested in helping out at the Open House or anniversary party, please email us at rocketcitycurlingclub@gmail.com.

Even if you're not volunteering, we'll have an open sheet available during the Open House for members and potential members to practice on (with priority given to Open House participants). Stop by whenever!

This is our chance to celebrate the RCCC and recognize those who've helped us become one of the largest curling clubs in the Southeast—especially our supporters across the city of Huntsville. Please stop by if you can!
